Yeah, that's us: reckless drop-of-a-hat travelers. Went to Paris this weekend and it was great. Stayed in the old neighborhood: St Georges in the 9th. This weekend was the "fête de la musique," so we found loosely-organized mini concerts erupting all over the city, often with...um...embarrassing results. As we ate dinner we heard one such band playing covers of tunes by the Kinks, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd, and Britney Spears. Quite a range there, and all sung in English with strong French accents. We went to Sacré Coeur and sat through 5 minutes of a singing mass, walked all over Montmartre, ate a lot of good food, and went to the Cluny Musée du Moyen Age. Here are some photos.
